Indian startup TakeMe2Space plans to launch what it describes as India’s first orbital computing satellite aboard SpaceX’s Transporter-18 mission on October 1.

The sub-50 kg MOI-1A satellite carries Nvidia Orin NX processors designed to run customer AI models and process satellite data directly in orbit instead of transmitting all raw information back to Earth. TakeMe2Space said it has signed 23 customers for the mission across industries including agriculture, mining, supply-chain management and insurance.
