SpaceX Targets September 22 for Starship’s First Orbital Flight
SpaceX is targeting September 22 for the 14th Starship test flight, which is expected to become the vehicle’s first attempt to enter a stable Earth orbit.
The nearly 10-hour mission would complete about six orbits at an altitude of roughly 275 kilometers before a Pacific splashdown. SpaceX also plans to deploy its first batch of Starlink V3 satellites during the flight, making the mission an important milestone for both Starship development and the next generation of the Starlink network.
