SpaceX is seeking regulatory approval to build a 32.4-mile natural gas pipeline in Florida to support its expanding Starship launch operations at Cape Canaveral.

The proposed 16-inch pipeline would connect to the existing Florida Gas Transmission system and provide a more reliable supply of natural gas, which SpaceX uses to produce liquid methane propellant. The company said truck deliveries and existing local infrastructure are insufficient for its expected launch needs, underscoring preparations for higher Starship launch volumes from Florida.
