SpaceX is in talks with banks and asset managers to raise approximately $40 billion to fund purchases of Nvidia AI chips.

The financing package is expected to include about $10 billion in bank loans and $30 billion of investment-grade debt, with Apollo reportedly expected to lead the transaction and PIMCO involved in discussions. SpaceX plans to use Nvidia hardware exclusively in its data centers as it rapidly expands computing capacity for its AI operations.
