Revolut received in-principle approval for a Virtual Assets Service Provider licence from Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority.

Subject to final approval, the licence will allow Revolut to provide crypto brokerage, exchange, management and investment services in the UAE through its main retail application and Revolut X platform. Eligible customers would be able to buy, sell and hold digital assets within a locally regulated framework. Revolut currently serves more than 16 million cryptocurrency customers globally.
