Revolut launched a pilot of Pay with Smile, an in-store facial recognition payment system that allows customers to authenticate purchases without using a card or smartphone.

The feature is integrated into the new Revolut Register point-of-sale system and was initially tested at three Kiss the Hippo cafés in London from September 24–26.
