Revolut appointed Dr. Sameer Al Ansari as Non-Executive Chairman of Revolut UAE as the fintech prepares for a full-scale launch in the country.

Al Ansari brings more than 40 years of corporate, investment and board experience, including previous leadership roles at Dubai International Capital and SHUAA Capital. His appointment follows Revolut’s receipt of Stored Value Facilities and Retail Payment Services licences from the Central Bank of the UAE and further strengthens its local governance structure ahead of market entry.
