Moonshot AI introduced Kimi K3, a 2.8-trillion-parameter model described by the company as the world’s largest open-weight AI system.

The model includes native vision capabilities and a one-million-token context window and is designed for reasoning, knowledge work and long-horizon coding. Moonshot made Kimi K3 available through its consumer products and API, with the full model weights scheduled for release by July 27.
