Moonshot AI reportedly entered early discussions to raise up to $2 billion in a financing round that would value the Chinese AI company at approximately $30 billion.

The proposed transaction would be Moonshot’s third financing effort in six months. It followed a separate round led by Meituan that was expected to value the Kimi developer at about $20 billion. The new target would represent roughly sevenfold valuation growth since December 2025.
