Moonshot AI released Kimi K2.7 Code, an open-source agentic model designed for coding and long-horizon software engineering tasks.

The model uses a Mixture-of-Experts architecture with 1 trillion total parameters, 32 billion activated parameters and a 256,000-token context window. Moonshot said K2.7 Code reduces reasoning-token usage by around 30% compared with K2.6 while improving coding and autonomous task-completion performance.
