Moonshot AI is considering a dual-listing strategy that could see the company float shares in both Hong Kong and mainland China. The Kimi developer has discussed a Hong Kong IPO with investors and is also evaluating a subsequent listing on Shanghai’s STAR Market.

The move would expand Moonshot’s access to capital after the company confidentially filed for a Hong Kong IPO targeting about $3 billion in proceeds. The Shanghai option is being considered amid a crowded Hong Kong IPO pipeline and weaker performance among recently listed AI companies.
