Databricks entered Gartner’s 2026 Magic Quadrant for Analytics and Business Intelligence Platforms as a Visionary, marking its first appearance in the report.

According to Databricks, the company achieved the highest initial placement of any new vendor in the Magic Quadrant’s more than 20-year history and ranked among the highest evaluated vendors for completeness of vision. The recognition reflects Databricks’ expansion beyond data infrastructure into enterprise analytics through AI/BI, Genie and its broader Data + AI Platform.
