Databricks expanded Unity Gateway to support all compliance security profile standards available across its platform. Unity Gateway is now enabled by default for workspaces using the compliance security profile.

The update strengthens Databricks’ governance layer for enterprise AI deployments, allowing organizations operating under regulated security requirements to manage model and AI service access through the same centralized gateway infrastructure.
