Databricks partnered with Singapore’s EDB and IMDA on a set of programs supporting the country’s National AI Strategy. The company plans to train an additional 20,000 people in data and AI skills over three years in cooperation with NTU, NUS and SMU.

Databricks is also launching the Singapore Startup AI Accelerator, targeting more than 100 early-stage companies, while expanding its local technical team to more than 200 employees. The initiatives form part of the company’s $350 million Singapore investment.
