Databricks released a beta version of the Genie One desktop application for macOS, bringing its AI-powered enterprise data assistant outside the browser.

The native application allows business users to query corporate data in natural language, access existing conversations and documents, and work with Genie Agents directly from the desktop. The release expands Genie One’s distribution following integrations with tools including Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
