Databricks made its MCP connectors for Genie One and Genie Code generally available, allowing AI agents to search and take actions across Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Atlassian, Slack and GitHub.

Connections are governed through Unity Catalog and Unity Gateway, which authorize tool calls, apply policies and approval requirements, and maintain audit records. Each employee authenticates individually, allowing Databricks agents to work with external enterprise applications while retaining centralized governance.
