Databricks added OpenAI’s GPT-6 Astra to Unity Gateway, making the new model available to enterprise customers through its pay-per-token Foundation Model APIs.

The integration supports enterprise reasoning, structured document processing, coding, agentic search, multimodal inputs and long-context workloads. It further expands Databricks’ strategy of providing governed access to leading third-party AI models through a single enterprise control layer.
