Databricks added Google Gemini 3.8 Flash to Model Serving as a Databricks-hosted model, expanding the range of foundation models available directly through its platform.

Customers can access the model through Foundation Model APIs without separately operating the underlying model infrastructure. The addition strengthens Databricks’ multi-model approach alongside offerings from OpenAI and Anthropic and gives enterprise customers more choice when deploying AI applications on governed corporate data.
