Databricks added DeepSeek V4.1 Flash to Unity Gateway, giving enterprise customers access to the newly released multimodal model through Databricks Foundation Model APIs.

The model supports both text and image inputs. DeepSeek describes V4.1 Flash as a 552-billion-parameter mixture-of-experts model using 8 billion active parameters for input and 16 billion for output, with an architecture designed to reduce inference and cache costs. The addition further broadens Databricks’ multi-model AI platform.
